The Marriott Marquis Houston is a high-class hotel with friendly staff. Guests praise the amazing views from the top floor corner rooms. The hotel is conveniently located near restaurants and the convention center. Parking is best with valet service. Guests also appreciate the many nearby activities. The rooms are very big, clean, comfortable and quiet. The lobby, the chandelier, the light, the elevator had beautiful pictures of the hotel and different kinds of food pictures to give you and ideas of what to expect. Every single staff person guests engage with has been helpful, friendly and kind. The hotel offers a pool area with a lazy river, hot tub, and regular pool. Guests can buy a day pass to enjoy the facilities. However, there is no poolside service, and guests must visit the bar to order food and drinks.
Folks were really nice there! We had nice valets and bell staff. Krystal at front desk made us feel so welcome as we heard about the property, then made our grandson feel special for his birthday, he loved the scavenger hunt and looking at the property details.
