Hotel ICON, Autograph Collection is a beautiful hotel with a great location. The hotel offers spacious rooms with comfortable beds and large bathrooms. The air conditioning works well, and the housekeeping staff is accommodating. However, there have been some issues, such as no hot water, key cards not working, and old, inefficient elevators. The parking is expensive at $50. The hotel management has been praised for addressing problems promptly and taking great care of guests. The maid service is excellent, especially when extra towels are needed. The hotel has a lovely view of Houston, and the rooms are spacious and serene. Everything from the trim work, molding, brass fixtures, and spacious bathroom (tub and standing shower) is well-done. The breakfast service is pleasant, and guests have had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The hotel lobby and common areas have a wonderful smell, and the staff, especially the concierge, Mr. Chu, are wonderful. Mr. Chu has a great sense of history and provides great recommendations for food and activities within walking or taxi distance. The hotel also features a beautiful deck with a pool, a fantastic gym, and a sauna, with awesome views of the Hong Kong skyline and Victoria Harbor, especially in the evening.
