My father unexpectedly passed away in March. I flew into Houston from Oakland with only a few days to figure out arrangements in a city that I was unfamiliar with. Even though my family is from Indiana, my father lived in Houston for over 30 years; therefore, it was important to me that we find a funeral home that would help us feel connected to the city my father loved.
