About LA Fitness
LA Fitness offers a variety of amenities, including state-of-the-art equipment, basketball, group fitness classes, pool, saunas, Kids Klub, and personal training. The gym is described as spacious and clean, with a decent selection of free weights and machines. The staff is pleasant, and the customer service is excellent, making it a recommended gym for the price. However, some customers have noted issues with maintaining equipment, such as broken machines and a shortage of towels. The gym's "Signature" designation may not fully reflect the current state of the facilities, as some areas, like the basketball court, may need renovations.
Place needs renovation or deep cleaning bad. AC likey works poorly, warmer than other locations, i.e, people will sweat more on equipment. With that, Found little sanitary wipes throughout gym.Gym etiquette is lousy by members when I attended. High pri Dumbbells are nearly always missing. Also… why did they think it was a great idea to place the heavier dumbbells on the top shelving ?? Crazy.
First, club does not have a pool and has not had one for years. They do provide towel service for an additional $10/month, but right now it’s been 3 weeks that there has been NO TOWER SERVICE, no credit for the lack of service and no explanation as to what’s up. This has happened other times this year.
This club has gone downhill quite a bit in the last couple years. Disposable wipe down towels are always out and they charge for towel use. Makes for an unsanitary workout experience for everyone
