The salon is busy and full of people getting cuts and colors, and the receptionist is very attentive. Scheduling the haircut is a breeze, with the receptionist texting reminders. The stylists, such as Sam Garcia and Taylor, are highly skilled in their craft. Sam is able to create the perfect layers and blend curtain bangs seamlessly, while Taylor can transform dark hair into a gorgeous blonde with no orange or yellow tones. Another stylist, Katie, is praised for her talent in resurrecting hair from a terrible haircut and creating natural-looking highlights that blend beautifully.
Highly recommend going to see Serena at Kaleido! I moved from Houston to DFW 3 years ago and I still make the journey back to Serena every few months because I don’t trust anyone else with my hair! She works with my busy schedule, helped me achieve a lived in balayage look that allows more time between appointments while still getting compliments on how good my hair looks 2 months after my appointment, and consistently helps me ensure I am getting exactly what I am wanting out of my appointments. 1000/10 recommend going to see Serena
I’ve been going to Kaleido since Serena joined the team (since she’s the only one I trust to touch my hair since moving to TX in 2021) and both the studio AND Serena’s services are top notch.
The booking process is super easy, the prices are a little higher than chain salons but so so so worth it.

Shelby is my girl for extensions. I picked her because she is IBE certified and has work extensions and really knows her stuff. She is so thorough and my hair has never been healthier with extensions. I get them done every 12 weeks and they grow out so seamlessly.
