I posted a breakdown of my bill. I paid almost $500 with someone with only 2 years of professional hair experience. Shelby was nice and didn't do a terrible job, but this is very expensive for what it actually was: The balayage was actually a foilage (so it really just looks like a basic full foil highlight, not painted on balayage). Yes, the website says the balayage may include foilage and teasy lights. But my *whole damn head* was foiled and blended in (not a combo of painted on and foils) This is the opposite of what I wanted. I wanted a thicker painted on bolder look. I said I hated thin baby lights. So why did I pay for a balayage? Feels like a bait and switch. It doesn't look bad, but it's not what I asked for. The haircut was actually a 5 minute dry dusting of the ends on only the front of my head...she didn't actually section off my hair to see if there needed to be corrections throughout the rest of my head. Even though I said I didn't want any length off, she still should have done the basic exercise of checking if my existing haircut was "off"...especially since it was $97. It's really unethical that this salon would charge for a full haircut when I didn't actually get one. A high end salon would have just dusted my ends for a reduced price or even complementary considering how much I spent for the fake balayage service I recieved. I want a refund for the $97.

10/10 ! The atmosphere here felt so welcoming since my consult appointment back in October. Really like how comfortable Linda and Eric made me feel when I came to Saint Rose. I just got a haircut and a bayalage done and I’m in love! Erika Orozco was my stylist. I cannot thank her enough. She did an amazing job. She was kind and sweet and she understood exactly what I wanted. It might sound crazy but I had major surgery two weeks ago and the nurse that took care of me, the first night after surgery, has a striking resemblance to Erika. She was the sweetest nurse ever. I believe Erika and that nurse have been my angels in this recovery time. Because nothing like an amazing haircut to make you feel better. Thank you, Erika!Services: Hair coloring

MARTIN IS AMAZING.Although I am a hairstylist myself I still like to get pampered. I booked a haircut with Martin because I was looking for a textured bob and saw he does excellent work on Instagram.The booking process was super easy to navigate, and they even texted me beforehand to make sure enough time was booked for this appointment/see what I wanted. As a hairstylist myself, I really appreciated that level of detail, care, and professionalism.From the minute I walked in I felt super comfortable in this salon space. Everything was absolutely gorgeous and carefully decorated/thought out. The front desk was very welcoming as well.I showed Martin a couple of pictures of what I was looking for and let him know kind of my personal style as well and he absolutely 10000% delivered the perfect haircut customized for me. I love that i can style it and make it look sleek/chic bob but he also added enough texture if I want to make it look more shaggy/edgy I can (as in the picture).Another thing is that ITS SO EASY TO STYLE. I’ve had SO much fun finding new ways to style it every day. Everyone noticed immediately and I have gotten SO many compliments.He also gave me some really good haircutting tips that I can use at the salon for my own clients and told me about some classes he was attending in the future. Even though he’s been a hairstylist for a while, its awesome that he is passionate / still actively seeks out education opportunities to keep himself updated on the latest trends.This salon clearly cares about their clients and the integrity of their work. I would definitely recommend Martin to anyone!

This salon is super cute and professional. I actually booked with a stylist (who was very kind and helpful) but switched to Emma at the salon’s recommendation. I appreciated them taking the time to ask about what style of cut I wanted and recommend a stylist whose speciality matched what I wanted. I’m sure the first stylist is also awesome at what she does!Emma captured exactly what I asked for (but better). Sometimes when I get my hair done I feel a little overwhelmed because I know I won’t be able to recreate the look, but Emma worked with my hair texture and taught me a manageable routine. Emma was amazing! I’m always hesitant to get a haircut because I hardly ever find a stylist who can deal with my curly thick hair. I like to wear my hair both ways, straight and curly and she gave me the perfect haircut, also got a B3 stem treatment which left my hair so soft and shiny. The final touch was my blowout, you couldn’t even tell I have a head full of curls! Definitely going back to her :) Everyone is super attentive and make you feel welcome at Hair by Saint Rose.Services: Hairstyling
