I truly believe that Dr Van Ness saved my cat’s life. My cat had severe diarrhea and wasn’t eating and the clinic saw me the same day I called wanting an appointment. After the visit my cat was eating which was a huge relief, it meant that he was feeling better. The vet tech Eresme was so caring and supportive that I don’t think I can thank her enough for all her help. Greenway clinic has an amazing team who cared about my cat and I will forever be thankful.

Edit to add: I moved from Houston to another city about a year ago. I had to find a new vet. I was referred to The Ark Pet Hospital, Dr. Hubenak, by a friend of a friend. Dr. Hubenak is a horrible vet.
I always knew Dr. Van Ness was special. But even moreso after going through hell with Dr. Hubenak.
Dr. Van Ness is by far the best veterinary. I have been with him for almost 30 years with my three canine creatures. He is not a vet who simply diagnosis with just tests. He actually exams my dog thoroughly.
He diagnosed my now-deceased pup with mammarian cancer by palpating her mammaries.
He's compassionate and empathetic. I will miss him when I have no creatures in my life for him to look after.

I tried to get my kitten spayed there. After filling out the form and sending the medical information from my primary vet I didn't hear anything back. I called multiple times and left a voicemail each time. I was never called back. It got to the point that I thought they were out of business. Nope, they just don't answer the phones. If I can't trust you to answer the phone why would I trust you to take care of my pets?

Been a PAYING patient for 3 years. Neutered pet there. Monthly medicine. Today was the last day. Calling to check on your pet is an inconvenience to them. Answering your phone call is a favor. Verbatim words. Office manager has awful customer service. On brand with what led us here to start. The head tech is aggressive and disrespectful. Hope your day gets better Aresma. I no longer trust my pet is safe there.
Really big shame. Coulda been an email. And my pet loved the vet and the groomers.
