This nursery has a large variety and expansive quantity of plants, trees and shrubs, etc. Their inventory is well cared for and sells quickly. Compared to other nurseries we’ve visited in the Houston, their prices are quite reasonable. They also offer a wide range of plant needs such as fertilizers, plant food and tools. One of the best things about Great Western Growers is their staff. They are always helpful, friendly and we appreciate the personal service and advice received by employees in various roles at the nursery.

Great Western Growers is my favorite nursery in all of Houston area. I haven’t found one that competes with the selection. I am a landscaper/gardener and this place has something for everyone. I can’t believe there is even one bad review. It is a mostly wholesale nursery so no you’re not going to get someone to hold your hand when you arrive. Go explore and have fun.

There is something for everyone here....the place is MASSIVE. The plants are beautiful. The people are helpful but keep in mind I believe this is almost more commercial or wholesale minded. The selection is far superior from other places. Have the time to take a look because it does take time. I have loved everything I have gotten and look forward to buying more....or at least my wife does! :)
