I have been suffering with a severe case of sciatica for over two years. After 53 weeks of physical therapy, 3 months of Pilates on the reformer, Acupuncture, and chiropractic services, very little progress was made in improving my mobility without pain. I was referred to Enhancing Massage and BodyWorks, LLC by my daughter and with Tameika's customized therapeutic massages and stretching, I am on the road for full recovery and returning to my active lifestyle.

I was born with scoliosis. Now in my 40s I have multiple herniated and bulging discs which have cause me to develop Lumbar Radicolopathy with severe sciatica pain. I’m currently in physical therapy weekly and take muscle relaxers but sometimes my daily lifestyle changes, aggravate my sciatic nerve which will cause me to have debilitating pain for an extended period of time. Even with weekly physical therapy I tend to be in pain with no avail. For a week I had to sleep with a heating pad on my lower back and glutes area. Going back and forth from heating pad to ice pad. Despite being fully booked, I eventually managed to secure an appointment, and the wait was definitely worth it.Have you ever wished for a massage therapist who can pinpoint the exact muscle that is sore without you having to say anything? Tameika is that person. She will inquire about the areas you want her to focus on and identify any others that you may not have been aware of.
