My stylist was lovely, and I was happy with how my blowout turned out. Unfortunately, the overall experience left me disappointed.
I arrived on time for my appointment but waited about 15 minutes before getting started. I understand salons can run behind, but no one apologized or acknowledged the delay.
What really frustrated me was being charged a $30 USD “extended time fee” at the end of the appointment. The appointment only ran about 10 minutes over, and it felt like the styling process itself was slowed down unnecessarily, with each small section being repeatedly gone over with the iron. I have thick, medium long, curly hair and I have had two great blowouts here and several really good ones before that. They listen well and are very caring. Tell them exactly what you want and they usually rise to the occasion and then some! So conveniently located, too.
