One of the best haircuts I ever had in a long time!!! Everyone is super nice and take their time when cutting your hair! First time I was amazed I loved the fades they gave you and they are really respectful unlike the past barber I had! I would recommend it!! Thank you Drake Barber Shop for the amazing service!!

Paul has been cutting my hair for over 50 years. There is no one else i will let touch my hair. I constantly recieve compliments on the quality of my cuts. There was a time or to, back in the 70s when i was talked into the high priced joints, like Borris of Houston.. that $50 cut..(back then) was not as good as the $20 haircut i get in Paul's chair today.

Drake's Barber Shop is a hole in the wall off of Lawndale. The shop is unmarked except for a neon "Open" sign and the signature red and blue swirly thing that every barber shop has. The staff is super friendly and give REALLY good haircuts. I have gone twice now and received a perfect cut every time. Today I got my hair cut and my beard trimmed for $12 and the woman was honestly pretty damn quick! She didn't speak any english but this worked fine for me because I knew enough basic spanish to describe what I wanted after showing her a picture of a similar style. Don't be put off by this, though! There is ALWAYS somewhere there who speaks english if you don't know any spanish....read full review
