Came here six years ago after my last barber threatened his girlfriend on speakerphone mid-haircut. Full volume, full drama, scissors still moving. I did not go back.
I have been coming to Danny at Cutthroat ever since, and he is, without question, the best barber in Houston. The haircuts speak for themselves, but what sets him apart is that he actually has a vision for your hair. He looks at you, thinks about it, and tells you what will work, and he's right every time. Needed a cut while my regular barber was unavailable - Mikey had same day availability and I’ve never had someone who seems to know so much about hair. He did an amazing job of explaining everything to me and you could really tell he takes the time to understand each individual’s unique hair to get the best cut. I was really impressed.
After visiting Mikey a couple times my coworker asks me one evening at work, “Is your barber black!? Because he shapes your hair to match your bone structure really good.”
CTB Washington and Mikey are top notch!
