I decided to give this place a try after meeting with the owner Brandy Chu. I liked her message and how she represented the company.
I basically came without an appointment and interacted with four people including my eventual hair stylist, Adele. Overall, everyone was nice.
I basically came in “blind,” looking for someone patient enough to work with me and figured out a style for me with my challenges around my hair. I thought Adele really took her time to understand what I wanted, asked and stopped often enough to make sure I’m still good, showed some pictures to show me ideas, and at the same time really came through as the professional who would actually knew more than me by giving the suggestions mostly.
I was very happy with my cut and I highly recommend this place. I will be back.

I’ve been coming to Cutthroat Barbershop for a couple years now. If you enjoy getting treated right and listened to, this is the place. Matt is by far the best barber I’ve ever had. He pays attention to detail, listens and takes his time to make sure you leave his chair with a smile. I have never been disappointed and neither will you. The staff is very accommodating and kind, and always very welcoming. The establishment is clean and ensures the best treatment. 100% recommended!
my sons hair was botched and on top of the the barber mentioned that he had already spent the allocated time on him and was already 12 -15 minutes past and he had another client waiting. It's a shame that they don't value the haircut of a child juat as important as with an adult. I presented to the barber what I wanted using an image I found on the internet and he seemed he was on bored but in the end nothing like the image he either did not comprehend or just didn't know how to do the cut. I am very disappointed and will never go back or refer anyone. This was the Shop on 19th Street. I'm not saying that all there locations operate this way but definitely the one on 19th St, I would not feel comfortable going back. Should've went to Clutch City Barber in the 1st place, heading there now to get his hair fixed.
