I have been calling to find a vet in the area and it has been excruciatingly painful speaking with staff trying to get a quote. I just called this office and spoke with Jared and he was extremely pleasant and polite and it was the easiest quote that I’ve gotten from any clinic I think ever so I really really appreciate that and because of that I will probably go into this clinic. I’m looking forward to my experience here and again. I just want to thank Jared for making that process easy for me especially when a lot of other clinics make it extremely hard.

Service is okay, but the price is over the roof compared to the other clinic we go to.

I want to make this review very clear, this is a practice my family has been going to for over 20 years, and this is not against Crossroads Animal Clinic. The techs have always been amazing, My family misses the doctors who retired that helped our family pets for so many years, but we are happy they get to enjoy this stage of life.

THIS REVIEW IS STRICTLY FOR DR. MUNDO. She is overall rude, and dismissive of her patients. I brought my cat in for treatment for a depro medrol shot which I have discussed many times with many vets that I understand the risks of a steroidal injection but unfortunately it’s the only thing we could find that works for her. Dr. Mundo had come in and said “yeah, im not doing depro” no conversation, no explaination, nothing.

I explained everything and she just made a face like I was an idiot and said she was giving her a pill, I explained I was willing to try it but I doubt it would work. The pills did not work.

I called back later after she had another issue with the mystery allergy, but I was insistent I didn’t want to see Dr. Mundo after how I was treated last visit.

DR. SHELBY WAS AMAZING and helped us greatly with my cats treatment, he was patient and listened to what I had to say about the allergy issues my cat has been having. He offered to do the depro shot as long as we got her bloodwork done, which of course came back perfect health.

I explained to Dr. Shelby that we would likely need to do another within 30 days because she’s been off the depro for so long, and that typically the shots need more frequency during summer, and in winter and fall it’s less frequent. He said he understands and that I just need to call when needed.

The other day (7/31/25)I called to make a tech appointment for a depro shot, and Dr. Mundo sticks her nose in something that is not her business as I made it clear for the second time when I made the appointment that I don’t work with Dr. Mundo, and instructs the tech to cancel the appointment.

I had already made it extremely clear that I do not want to work with Dr. Mundo prior in several conversations.

Moral of the story/ TLDR: Dr. Mundo is stuck up, does not care what the pet parents think, and is rude and dismissive, bad practice. Do not give her business. Dr. Shelby did amazing and will be working with him in the future.

We have been going to Crossroads for years. Great staff and Dr Mundo is amazing. They are very accommodating to both our dogs. Couldn't be happier with the attention everyone gives.

The good doctors retired. Had an emergency with my dogs ear and the vet literally said to her face she did not have time to help us. And this is supposed to be a animal hospital. There excuse was the other doctors had retired. So why wouldn't your hire more doctors if you knew multiple people were retiring. We went to vca off Telge where they were most helpful. Will be taking our other animals there from now on.

Update for their comment. He did not need sedation vca clean the wound and gave him antibiotics and pain meds. All without sedation. And he is doing better now thanks to you who literally said we don't have time for you. Moral of the story don't take your dogs here.
