like most on here, i've used chavez plumbing for years either at my rental property or personal home. he's skilled and good at what he does; however, the job on 4/11/25 was more expensive than i anticipated. it called for digging up, removing/replacing about 25ft of gas line from the meter to the garage, and back fill. in total it cost $4,800 for the repair job. i understand labor on such digs is most of the cost, then factor in permits and inspections plus materials so i get it, but this rental property is also experiencing gentrification and property values have steadily risen over the years and i have to wonder if that played a factor and overpaid as a result of...read full review
Grease trap in 2023. Installed the grease trap and then I had to pay separate for the concrete pour and rebar through another company. Great job with the install just wish I knew it was two separate prices and companies up front.
Everyone I have had contact with at Chavez Plumbing has been very courteous and professional. We had them come out several times recently and each time they have done great work and they always keep the area clean. For one job, we needed them to come early in the morning to disconnect the kitchen plumbing and the oven for countertop installers who were arriving at 9am. Chavez was here at 8am sharp and they returned the next morning at 9am to reinstall everything. I like that they are smaller than some of the big plumbing companies in Houston, but they are still able to come out either the same day or the next day, unlike some small companies I have called in the past.
