The first time I went to Black Rose I had a wonderful experience. They were very nice and and she had a lot of patience. I even let my kids get their hair done they love it .

Cece is a very professional stylist that makes you feel beautiful and welcomed into her salon. She takes pride in her work and aims to please the client. She has very convenient openings that fits my work schedule perfectly. I am always satisfied when I leave her salon. I can be a complicated client, but she has alot of patience with me. Thanks Cece!

Believe the negative reviews and pay attention to the tone of the feedback. She called to cancel with less than 24 hour notice, stating she no longer does “updos” due to time constraints (even though it’s on her page as a service). I asked for clarity because I did not book an “updo”. She became ill-tempered and argued that I did. Then, tells me she’s cancelling (thankfully).
Just a rough around the edges kinda gal.

All I can say is WOW!! I don't use weave in my hair but really wanted a ponytail for the Nicki Minaj concert I was attending. I have only been in Houston for 3 years and was skeptical for someone new to do my hair other than braids. Booking was super easy and I got reminders. Any questions I had I got a quick response. When I arrived I received a warm welcome from Cece and her daughter. First impression is so important to me and I already knew I was going to return. Cece made my ponytail look so fly and laid I was so happy. She was nice, patient and gentle. I instantly decided that this salon was going to be my regular spot to go to. Also! She even offered me food! Like that was a first for me. Cece I hope this review gets a lot of reviews because your salon deserves the spotlight. Thank you so much for your amazing service and I will most definitely be back. 20 stars all the way!!

I had a fantastic first experience here! I ended up waiting until the last minute to try to get this hair tamed lol.. CeCe had an available spot that I booked immediately for the day before New Years Eve. I was so excited due to all the pictures I had seen of her work!!! When I arrived I was welcomed and the atmosphere was friendly and inviting. The appointment I made included a wash, which was heaven, her beautiful daughter washed my hair, which I have not been in a shampoo seat in ages, since it's so hard to find stylists that still offer this service. Janyah did a wonderful job washing and braiding my hair down. Her daughter Janyah is also a very talented braider (check out her pictures).The conversation was awesome, I felt so at home and comfortable. My hair was slayed to perfection and she made sure to ask exactly what I wanted and delivered just that and some. I loved the Mom and daughter duo working together. Her salon offers sew-ins, natural hair care, braids, etc.. and did I mention she does a phenomenal job!!! I'm so excited that I found somewhere that is definitely a one stop shop, and I cant wait to go back and explore different hairstyles and have Black Roses Hair Studio tend to all my different hair care needs. Thank you CeCe and Janyah!!! You two are awesome! Definitely will be returning and I highly recommend!
