I hover between a 3 and a 4 here.There are so great barbers here, some good barbers and a few lousy ones.The biggest problem I have is, bc you are randomly assigned a barber when you arrive, the results of the haircut are very inconsistent.Elvis and Ronnie are my top two - both did a great job for me. Big is solid too. All three provided great service and solid haircuts.Have also had others cut and they butchered the cuts, the last guy who cut me - I felt like he did exactly the opposite of what I asked for.I wish I could but book with my preferred barber - it would make this 5-star.My rating is a 3.5 rounding up for good vibes.

The closest thing to legit barber shop vibes I've found in Houston. Great barbers, Ruben keeps me looking fresh and the fun/joking around atmosphere is what sealed the deal for me. Also, one of few barber shops in the city that's under $50 for a men's cut. So make sure you tip handsomely!

Awesome place. Edgar (Big E) gave me the best haircut ever. I've got nothin but compliments from everyone on how good my hair looks. I'm definitely gonna become a regular.

Big Kat’s is a goldmine for old school indulgences, including the hot towel straight razor shave. For all of the top notch service, the prices remain reasonable — that shave treatment is just a $30.00 foray, and haircuts ring in at $25.00. The barbers ooze personality.
