Learning from you was truly something special. Your passion, precision, and dedication to floral design are on another level, but what stood out the most to me was the way you genuinely care about your students. You don’t just teach, you invest in people.
You gave me more than skills. You gave me confidence, a new way of seeing details, and a deeper appreciation for the art behind every arrangement. I now look at floral design with a completely different mindset because of you.
There are very few instructors who leave a lasting impression, and you are definitely one of them. I feel incredibly lucky to have learned from you, and I carry everything you taught me with pride.

I took the 3-day class package about 2 years ago and loved it so much that I decided to come back this year for the full week course. I wanted to refresh and expand on what I learned the first time so that I can be confident and proficient in how to make this a business. Michael not only taught us how to create exquisite floral designs for all occasions in a fun and engaging atmosphere, but he gave us useful tips, insights, and advice on how to build a strong business within the industry. Thank you Michael, this was a great experience and I can’t wait to start working with my new skills!

I took the 2-day class as a total and complete beginner. Although most of the rest of the class clearly were not novices, I left the experience feeling good about how much Michael was able to teach me. My work, I think, was respectable despite my inexperience. I am proud of what Michael got out of me. The teaching methods that Michael uses are very effective. Clearly, he is a masterful mentor/teacher of even someone like me. I would definitely recommend this class to friends who, like me, wanted to learn something completely outside of their wheelhouse. Overall I give this class, and Michael, superlatives!

I am from the Dallas area but attended class in Houston. It was a great class. While I have experience, it is mostly self taught and I have never had formal education. Michael is is a great teacher. So knowledgeable and helps you gain confidence while educating you on the ins and outs. I took the full 6 days, and if you are serious about doing floral work, I highly recommend! It was a great experience for me!

Michael makes the art of flower design an amazing experience from the minute you walk into the class! He makes you feel like a master designer after one day! Thoughtful and encouraging and extremely knowledgeable and funny! I can’t wait to take another class!

Over all my first experience with Southern Floral Co exceeded my expectations. Veronica communicated well, showed great flexibility and gave fair product condition information and pricing. I used a different wholesaler for my previous job in Houston and that wholesaler had no in house inventory, so it pleased me to see the in house inventory at Southern Floral. The inventory gave me options to exchange and/or add items to the order I made ahead of time. I also appreciated the hardware section which saved me from having to make another stop for hardware.

Their truck driving was swerving all over the road. Cutting people off and weaving in and out of traffic. Driver was literally just changed back and forth while slamming on his breaks down cypress wood rd trying to get around cars. The speed limit on this road is 35 mph and that is what the cars were doing but apparently it wasn't fast enough for this driver. Dangerous that a business would employ such a driver.
