Dr. Sopel is very thorough and most important to me, he is so very gentle! Injections do not hurt. Being a petite lady with a petite mouth, he does not stretch my mouth out and does not use his entire hand in my mouth, only the tips of his fingers and whatever instrument he is using! In my entire lifetime, I’ve only had one other dentist, Dr Andy Doerfler (now retired), to be this gentle! I highly recommend Dr Sopel. Dolly Morgan

I recently became eligible for Medicare and switched some of my medical providers. I have always taken care of my dental needs and always had good dental care but a lot of my teeth were wore out and I have broken a few in the last decade or so. Horseshoe Bay Dental was in my new network so I gave them a try and expected to continue as I have in the past. In the last couple of years I have tried to chew more cautiously and exclude foods that are likely to break teeth as implants are a months long process costing about $3000. I didn't tell Dr. Sopel any of this as I just thought that was my reality. Who knew that so much could be accomplished with fillings? At my initial visit, Dr. Sopel picked out 7 of my teeth that were thin, one chipped, some with old likely to fail fillings and presented a plan that was inexpensive and has greatly improved my bite; sort of like strong new teeth. Horseshoe Bay Dental will also offer a great deal of guidance for future preventative tooth care. It is a well thought out daily routine.

Recently moved to Horseshoe Bay from Houston and needed a dentist. I found Dr. Sopel and staff. They are fantastic. Friendly, thorough and gave me great tips for good dental health. The state of the art equipment they use are amazing. Turned out I needed a crown and I was worried. With each step, they put my mind at ease, did a beautiful job on it and I can smile with confidence knowing it looks great. AND...it is was all done the very same day. Thanks to Jed, Diana and Dr. Sopel for a job well done!
