I had a chicken with pretty bad bumblefoot. Took her to the vet close to me who supposedly treats birds. He quoted a ridiculous price including blood work and anesthesia. Also, not as knowledgeable as he should have been. I found Clear Creek Forest through a chicken Facebook group. So glad I did!!! Howard Davenport was great. Very knowledgeable and knew exactly how to surgically remove the 3 hard kernels of infection and get my chicken on the road to recovery. I drove 45 minutes there and it was completely worth it. His price was so reasonable and a fraction of what the other vet wanted. I have found my chicken vet!!!!

This place is amazing! Everyone is so sweet and caring! We came here because of a recommendation for the Chicken Guru, aka Howard Davenport. He's amazing. He is super knowledgeable and helpful. One of our chick's had impacted crop AND sour crop. He's amazing!

Dr Haug has been taking care of all our animals before she even opened her own clinic!! Does an awesome job taking care of our animals, they love her!!!

We had an amazing experience with Clear Creek Forest. Everyone was so kind and you knew that they loved your pet and took the best care of them. Dr. Haug is phenomenal! And Howard the chicken specialist showed great care for our chicken. I would definitely bring my other pets here.

One of ours chickens had swelling in her leg with a limp and Clear Creek Animal Hospital was able to see us same day to see Howard Davenport who specializes in poultry. Howard was very knowledgeable and addressed all my concerns. With over 50 years of experience with poultry he knew almost immediately what the diagnosis was and we were able to treat it. It’s great to have a vet that has a poultry specialist. Howard’s service was great and he truly cares about his patients. Highly recommend! Great prices also!

Waited 1.5 hours and did not speak to the vet about cat. My wish would have been told to reschedule due to the emergency going on instead of sitting waiting for that long. Good try Clear Creek. Dawn and Kym were nice and accommodating to the best of their abilities.

We’ve been going for a couple years now and never had issues until we did. We’ve been in and out of the office with one of our dogs in particular having what turned out to be serve allergies. (Came to learn that from a different vet a year ago and have had no problems since) However we came back this year for our yearly visits and after the fact learned that we didn’t get the correct heart worm medication for the dogs. After attempting to get a refund because they don’t carry the medication we have been using for the last year they told us no “because we talked about it”. It was never spoken about with the doctor just the vet tech who had been working there for 2 weeks and didn’t know pricing on anything to begin with. (No fault to her she’s new) however we are now at risk for our severely allergic dog to have a bad reaction to the incorrect medication at the doctors judgement. So we are $1300 dollars down the drain and she’s $1300 dollars richer. Will never be back. Poor vet practices.
