Highland Village Animal Medical Center is the best! We have been bringing our furry babies there for 20+ years. We moved to Denton two years ago and still make the drive to HV because of the outstanding care and love they provide. Everyone there is outstanding, from doctors, to technicians to front desk. And Dr. Lorien Schoelkopf is so very gentle with our 14 year old Schnauzer/Poodle and our 7 year old Australian Cattle dog/American Staffordshire. Love these folks!! Always thankful for their outstanding care.

Thank you Dr. McCullough for seeing Roscoe so quickly, and diagnosing his gastric distress. I love the plan you put him on, along with food that is easily digestible to get him back to 100%! I’m so thankful to have such an amazing veterinarian that I trust implicitly and who loves Roscoe. THANK YOU! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s wonderful that they love my spirited 65 pound dog and treat her like she is their favorite. She loves all the attention and never complains about going to the vet!

Their negligence essentially killed my best friend. Our dog started acting weird in the early morning. Our original vet could not see them til late afternoon, so we decided to take him here. The vet did not do an extensive exam, and just told us his labored breathing and shaking was due to his 106 fever. He gave him a shot, told us to go home and that he would be better by morning. No blood work or X-rays performed. He was not better by the afternoon, so we called back up to the Vet and they said his symptoms were still normal. So we trusted this professional and his words. By 7pm he still wasn't better. So we took him to a different Vet ER. Turns out he did not have just a fever. He had aspirated and this had turned into sepsis. He died at 3am. This new ER vet and our original vet both said that if a dog presents with a 106 fever, you take him to the ER immediately. And if we would have caught this sooner, we may have been able to save my best friend. We put our trust in the care of the professionals at this clinic and they failed both my family and my best friend. I would advise finding a different clinic to bring your pets to.
