“My review is based on a single experience so... that said, this place absolutely exceeded my expectations. I know what you may be thinking - dingy strip mall location, how good could they be?? VERY. I brought in some Foehn brand pants that were too long, even at inseam 30 (I'm 5'11"). The problem is, they're not your traditional hem job since both pants have elastic hems as well as zippers at the leg cuff. So I was worried it would cost a bundle to shorten them, but the lovely lady who is apparently there FRI-SAT only (I think -I overheard her tell that to a customer) brilliantly suggested that we instead cut the pant leg at the knee, lose the material from there, and re-sew it. AMAZING RESULTS. I'm raving on because I'd had these pants for literally close to two years without wearing them since they were too long and I am so jazzed to finally wear them and have them fit right. Needless to say, this shop will be my go-to from now on.“

“I got two coats dry cleaned. One I toted all around Tokyo for two weeks it was in pretty rough shape including some color transfer from a new turtle neck on the back of the collar. The other was an old trench I had curled up in the garage for probably a year. Both look brand new. Stunning actually. I should have taken before and after photos. “The tailors and personnel at Nordstrom Alterations were incredibly efficient and easy to work with. I was able to book an appointment at the store online within a few days. They had plenty of openings given how short notice I booked the tailoring. I only needed the hem raised on my wedding dress. The fitting was completed in an hour, and the dress was available for pickup within the week. No problems at all, and thuggery have plenty of convenient full mirror changing rooms at order pickup for you to check the work. The tailor is also on call in case you need additional alterations. Pain free and so quick! They even corrected some mistakes by a previous tailor.“
