Let me start by saying I was in absolute, severe pain with a tooth that I had been trying to treat myself for several months. The pain eventually became unbearable, and I knew I couldn’t put it off any longer.
I called several dental offices in Boerne, but no one was able to get me in. Then I called Kinard Dentistry in Helotes, and from the very first phone call, everything changed.

From top to bottom, I could not recommend Kinard Family Dental enough!! From the moment, my four year-old son and I walked in we felt welcomed and seen. They took us back immediately, and the doctor and her technician spent over an hour with us, examining my son and answering any and all questions I had. At one point, as he began to fidget the assistant let him pick out toys and played with him so I could focus. they were never annoyed or impatient, which was so refreshing in a medical environment. 10/10 recommend, especially for kiddos!!
I was so impressed with Kinard Family Dental. We are new to the area and had not yet had our new patient appointment, when my daughter had a dental emergency. They went above and beyond to help us, and they were wonderful with my daughter. I’m so very happy that we chose this practice for our family.
