Very good place to practice. I go in there quite a bit to play guitar and piano. Much closer and overall better experience than Guitar Center. Finna be there again today too. See you boys at the counter.

Came in there today and literally had my life saved getting a chin cushion for my daughters viola the guy at the front with long hair was super helpful, and gave me hope for humanity honestly %100 genuine will be back for any musical needs from here out

Ill give it two stars because my daughter loves her flute. However the customer service and follow thru is lacking substance. I was double charged and requested a refund of one of the charges. I was told he would have to scream into the void to see if a refund was even possible. And that I would hear back from him but I have not heard a peep out of the manager since. I called customer service to find out it took 3 days for the refund to even be approved. Then was told by customer service that it should be in my acct by Wednesday. It is not so I call back AGAIN only to be told it will take another 3-5 days. The woman i spoke to was very kind and understanding but the communication from the store has been garbage. There isnt a ton of options locally for my daughter's rental unfortunatel. Just know this store wont follow thru with communication on resolutions. You may as well just call the customer service line and save yourself the frustration

I brought my violin here last week. It needed quite a lot of work to be able to play. I was skeptical at first, but these guys have an amazing luthier and everyone at the store is kind and professional. I wish I could remember their names, but they did great work! He even cleaned my violin and included it in the price I was given at drop off. I might get a repair plan with them in the future

I brought a string instrument to the harker heights location for a new bridge many months ago. The staff seems young and not too overly serious about communication. Whatβs irritating is that this shop relies on an βexpertβ from Salado to perform the work.
Well, today Iβm in Houston (Katy) at a much more reputable shop to perform the correct repairs to the bridge (a new bridge properly thinned. Mitch left his bridge work thick like raw timber), new strings and have the nut shimmed. The shop in Houston has many locations and has more skilled people to perform repairs. They asked where I had the shoddy work done earlier. I said in Harker Heights. They replied, βoh, Mitch. Heβs from Salado. We know his work all too wellβ. They then proceeded to show me the poor quality work that Mitch from Salado did and compared it to all the other instruments on their shelves so I could see whatβs right and whatβs βMitchβ.
Save yourself the time and wasted money. Get it done correctly the first time. Coordinate with the reputable string instrument shop in Houston. There are several locations and shouldnβt be too hard to google. Thereβs a reason why this franchise in Houston provides services for all of the schools in Belton ISD
