Regarding the review mentioning scalp burning, as a healthcare provider I’d recommend seeing a dermatologist. There are underlying scalp conditions that can cause sensitivity or irritation, which may be worsened by heat styling. It’s best to get that evaluated so your stylist can be properly informed.

I have been seeing Melissa for my haircut and color for years and will never go to anyone else. My now teen daughter’s get their hair cut and colored by her as well and love it EVERY SINGLE TIME. Melissa has the gentlest hands while at the shampoo bowl and behind the chair! She never disappoints, always gives us exactly what we want and leaves us feeling brand new! 100000/10 would recommend!
