“I have used S&P since March 2018 and have referred neighbors in the past that also used them. When I hire someone my #1 factor is excellent Cust Service. I want to know that I will be taken care of from start to finish and that the company will respond to me with any of my concerns. According to the S&P website they say they strive for excellent Cust Service and they listen to and prioritize your needs and expectations above all else. They don't just say they offer quality, they live and breathe it. ETC. ETC.In the past when I used S&P they did excellent work. Last month, I had a small tree removed with stump and root grinding, a large limb removed from another tree and root grinding for tree roots that were left behind in my front yard from when I had a large tree taken down years ago. I made the mistake of not inspecting the work before I handed them my check since I had received excellent service in the past. After the guys left, I later went out and noticed there was a root sticking up in the ground from the tree removal, one of my pavers near it that my grill sits on had been broken, there was a large orange rim left on the tree where the limb was removed and I later noticed a lot of tree roots left in the front and my sprinkler head cap had been broken off.I contacted Jesse at the Grand Prairie location. He was quick to come out the next day and said he would take care of everything. I have beige pavers. He brings a red paver to replace it and tells me mine (that are 2 years old) were faded from the sun when I mentioned his was red. He did cut out the root left behind and had told me the bright orange paint would wash off when we got rain. But then they did cut the tree below the orange paint where it was marked to cut. They had originally sealed the branch but after cutting it down more it was left unsealed. I contacted Jesse again and he told me that you only seal live oak trees. I ask him if he could let me know what I need to buy to seal the tree or would he be available to come back and seal the tree since it was originally sealed. S&P has pruned that same tree in the past and every single branch was sealed after the cuts. Three weeks ago Jesse told me he would come back the following week and take care of sealing the tree. Last week while I was out raking the tree roots left behind in the front, I noticed my sprinkler head cap buried in the roots. I emailed Jesse again to ask him if he was still able to come back and seal the tree and told him I had found a broken sprinkler head cap while raking. I have heard nothing.I know I have options for other tree service and had some when I decided to do my trees this time that came highly recommended. I chose S&P because I had used them in the past and they always took care of me. It didn't happen this time.ADDED to change the rating from 2 to 4.Jesse contacted me the day I posted my review. He came the next day and took care of all of my issues. He mentioned he didnt respond because he had covid.“

“The folks with Chippers are phenomenal to work with, from start to finish. Friendly, customer oriented and cannot beat the amazing work their crews do. I needed several dead trees removed and also several "volunteer" monsters that were rubbing on my roof. All gone, and they cleaned up and pruned my other trees into true beauties. Cannot say enough about their customer care. And Megan, the office manager, is the best! Call them!“
