From the very start, Shaun Miska, the Personal Planning Advisor, was an incredible help. He met with us on very short notice and took the time to clearly explain all of our options for planning my father’s memorial service. His personable and trustworthy approach, combined with his knowledgeable guidance, made us feel at ease. He wasn’t pushy—just genuinely helpful and accommodating during a stressful time. I highly recommend reaching out to Shaun for preplanning funeral or memorial arrangements. When it came to planning the actual service, Johanna Leal and Alexis Purcy-Evans were equally intuitive, compassionate, and dedicated. Both were honest, accommodating, and detail-oriented, guiding us through every aspect of the memorial service with professionalism and care. On the day of my father’s memorial service, unexpected delays on our part could have disrupted the service, but Johanna stepped in without hesitation, conducting everything with grace and warmth. She went above and beyond, ensuring everything proceeded smoothly despite the changes. One of the most moving moments was when she spontaneously played a song that had been mentioned during the service—something that truly touched our hearts. Her personable nature, intuition, and attention to detail made all the difference, and we are forever grateful. Losing a loved one is never easy, but the team at Grand Prairie Funeral Home made sure my father’s memorial service was beautiful, meaningful, and a true reflection of his memory. Their trustworthy and knowledgeable approach provided comfort during such a difficult time. The attention my family received in planning celebrating the life of our brother, Walter Lee Fraley Jr. was beyond anything we anticipated.
