I’m sorry, I have to be the one to rate a company based upon the driving habits of their employees, but I believe this shows a lot about how they view the people they serve. I was driving along I-30 here in Arlington when one of their drivers (license plate: NNP7325) passed traffic on the outside of a lane, almost hitting my vehicle among others in front of me. They choose to cut off a driver in front of my lane of traffic causing my inventory to shift dramatically. Later, as traffic was thinning out, they appeared to be in no hurry at all, likely not responding to an emergency, but rather not wanting to wait and just put people in danger for no reason. Unsafe driving, especially in a company vehicle, for no apparent reason really reflects poorly upon a company. If this company stands by their drivers for situations between service calls, I can only imagine they responsibility they will take on actual service inside others houses. My rating is purely based upon an experience with this company without receiving any plumbing services from them.

I mainly used Permapier Foundation repair, who is the SAME company as Blacktie plumbing. The office for Permapier / Blacktie plumbing is horrible. The entire company struggles with communication. On the plumbing side, a plumber was supposed to be at my house between 8-10. The office called at 945 to tell me that the plumber had called out sick. They wanted me to stay home and be available on a different day, but I was able to convince them to come that afternoon. The plumber came but found that the clean out had been slightly burried by their foundation crew. He left, the digger came back and had it unburried in less than 5 minutes. But the plumber couldn't come back for another 3 or 4 days. If you have questions about the work they are quoting- the office will delay answering them. They don't communicate within the office, and threatened to put a lien on my house if payment wasn't made before the work was even done. If you do talk to a manager, make sure you record everything he says because he won't tell the office what was agreed to. Run, run, run. Go somewhere else.
