Disappointing and rude. I called up to get a haircut for my dog. She said she had a cancellation for tomorrow and could fit me in, but revoked the offer when she realized that I was not a repeat customer. She then proceeded to laugh maniacally into my ear until I had to tell her to just have a nice day. No way will I ever give this place business.

Dropping off your pet, no worries whatsoever! Julie and her staff are amazing at making sure that your babies are loved and cared for. The best place to leave your animals day or overnight. You know that they are safe and secure from the moment you drop them off until you pick them up.

We’re not from the area, we came camping with our young daughter and our German Shepherd who usually is so well behaved in our camper. This time, our GSD did not take well to being left alone in the camper. After two days of tearing up our camper, we were desperate for something to do with our girl Libby so we could try to enjoy the rest of our trip. We found Country Pet Care, they were able to accommodate her immediately and took such good care of her for 3 days! She came back to us happy and well groomed! She got to play with other dogs rather than being cooped up in her crate and we got to enjoy our vacation to the fullest without having to worry about her! I cannot say enough good things about the employees and the business! They really single handedly saved our vacation!

I had to drop my mini dachshund off here last minute for a few hours and I’m very happy with my experience! The ladies there were super nice and I felt really comfortable leaving my dog there. It’s like you’re dropping your dog off at someone’s home, rather than a shelter with barking dogs that reeks of bleach. Andddd on top of that, it was $15!! If you’re thinking about boarding your dogs anywhere, go here!

Most reviews of CPC are very positive. I'm happy to read those and to be supportive of all good businesses in Glen Rose. But if your dog has had a previous injury, say to one front leg as our male aussie, this is probably not for you. Left him walking on all fours with no visible limp and picked him up two days later walking on three with right front leg just hanging. Asked some questions and got some loud "answers." So it's not for our sweet boy. Not accusing anyone, just asking, "What happened?" He was running and playing normally on our two acres before we took him. They say he was limping when we brought him in. Go figure.

I’ve used Country Pet Care twice. We boarded our doodle with them a few weeks back and we dropped our dog off to be groomed yesterday and they did an amazing job! Every time I drop my morkie off for grooming and ask them to go short on the ears they never do. They finally did here which makes me so happy, my dog looks so cute! We will definitely be using Country Pet Care again.
