Myself and 3 friends played earlier this week. You have such a beautiful course. I can't wait until spring when all the sod has taken root and we can come back. We definitely will consider a 'stay and play' package next time. I LOVED all the views of the huge American Flag blowing in the wind.

Played her numerous times, course is a good layout and amenities are great. Range balls looked a bit worn and a handful from my bucket flew weird in the air.
Tee boxes were crisp, fairways were mostly good. There were a few holes with big slopes in fairway with rocky bare spots. Greens were good. #17 green was extremely slow.
This is my fav public course I play in Longview/Tyler tx. I miss the $75 weekend price though. Yay inflation!

I can't say enough about this golf course. The staff was first class today! The food at the grille was the best I have ever had from a golf course restaurant. My wife is gluten free and she was able to enjoy her meal as well. They love Veterans here at Tempest! And then the Golf course was in great shape considering all the rain that Texas has had this Spring. I see guys in the reviews complaining about the dirt spots on the fairways. Just played Winstar on Monday. They are having the same issues. Get over it. Plenty of room to move your ball to relief for ground under repair. Greens were immaculate! I will be back!
