Sister Sister African Hair Braiding

I want to start by saying that the ladies I encountered at the salon were all very nice and professional. I showed them a picture of the style I wanted, specifically requesting small, waist-length knotless braids. Before leaving, I briefly glanced at the front of my hair and thought the braids looked a bit big to be “small”, but since the work was complete, I decided to pay for the service and take a closer look when I got home.

Once I examined my braids more closely, I was extremely disappointed with the overall quality. The final result did not meet my expectations. The parts in my hair are uneven and inconsistent throughout. For $300.00, I was hoping for a much better outcome.

NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN BC WHY ARE YOU CHARGING $220 FOR KIDS BRAIDS AND THEN DONT EVEN PROVIDE THE HAIR !! ON TOP OF THAT AN EXTRA $20 TO ADD CURLY HAIR…. THEN THEY ARE RUDE AND SLOW LIKE THEY LACK COMPREHENSION.. ONE MINUTE YOU CALL AND THEY GIVE YOU A PRICE BUT WHEN YOU WALK IN EXPECT IT TO BE ABOUT $60 MORE… YOU ASK A PRICE OR QUESTION IT.. THEY ALL YELL !!

best braiding ever fast and on point

Very rude and unsanitary staff. I will never go back. They are liars as well… the quote you one price and then try to change it at the end. They pull on your hair, combing from the root down. The walk around bar foot and with their feet on the hair you purchased and cop attitude if you ask to take 4 unused package (sealed thank goodness cause she had her nasty toes on it.they argue and more then on person is on you head to you have to monitor the consistency of the braids. They literally don’t care here. Only go here if you want a quick rip off, love to hear arguements from across the room, stylist you have to micro manage, love a filthy shop and and a lot of attitude. You have been warned

These ladies give a great price for hair braiding.

Been too this shop many times over the year and before I would recommend this shop but with my last experience I won’t be returning. First I was charged 350$ for Large Goddess braids which is extremely overpriced especially for the service I received. I sat down and immediately 2 stylist began to argue loudly from across the salon for about the first 20 min and still continued throughout my appointment while still having other customers in the shop as well. Then the tried to give me boneless braids as if I wasn’t paying 350$ and the parting was not consistant or large at all. I was uncomfortable from the beginning interactions I left straight after she finished dipping my hair and as I got into the car and looked in the mirror I so that my part was in the middle of my left eyebrow and the braids in the front row were small. I had to come bck the next morning due to them not having anyone who could rebraid my hair and when they did it they still wanted me to go and get another pack of hair to redo the style. I declined and asked for them to take it and reuse the hair I waited and ended up having to take out the first row by myself until a stylist came bck to help me . Although they corrected it I was displeased with the service and it doesn't match the price at all. Don’t waste your money here there are much more affordable places with way better service.

Just recently went to get my hair braided and boho knotless. Let me start by saying I will not be back they charged me 320 dollars for half ass service. They had three different people on my head one in the back and two in the front. Witch lead to all of my braids in the front being different sizes. Also they did not dip all of my braids leaving some long and some curled at the ends. They argued about the price for two hours expecting to pay what ever they came up with. They charge an extra 40 dollars to add curly pieces and that is ridiculously never heard of this from any other shop. Also they did not tuck my braids my hair is long enough for the braids to be tucked properly and the are not my real hair is sticking out almost half of the braids. I sent them a zell for part of the payment and they chased me down thinking I didn’t send it. If I could dispute the payment I would this was the worst service I have ever got and if you are not a regular they treat you any kind of way. Mama e your money find someone who will give you proper service.

This place is absolutely ridiculous! Employees are very unprofessional. I had 4 ppl on my head. One of the young ladies, I had to ask several times to stop combining my natural hair from the scalp, ripping my hair out . Hair is to be combed from the ends up, and not with a rat tail comb.. They don't care anything about the care of your hair. I had to finally insist that she get of my head. The braids came out ok, even though it was Not what I asked for. The ladies are loud and ghetto as hell. They got into a full fledged argument about not rotating to help other customers as they were coming in for service. None of them cared about the unprofessionalism they were displaying. They don't take debit/ credit so you must have cash, or they want you to Zelle pay. There is no set person to give your payment to and no receipt for services. I had to ask who do I pay, and one then just held her hand out. No thank you, come again or anything. These ppl are sick! Don't even waste your time. I wish I would have read these reviews before I went there. I definitely WON'T BE GOING BACK! This place needs to be shut down immediately!

I DO NOT recommend this place. They are very unprofessional and do not give you what you ask for. They were going back and forth on service prices amongst themselves. I was told 3 different prices for my hair which turned out awful! They were being very careless by snatching on my neck and hair!! One lady was chewing her food DIRECTLY over my head with her mouth wide open and talking very loudly. I truly thought she was going to spit food on my scalp. Yall do not keep giving this place money!!!!
