“I had an amazing experience at Gold Dust Tattoos, one of the top shops in Dallas. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed—the shop doubles as an art gallery, with beautiful paintings on the walls, and even features custom leather bags designed by Char McGaughy, the owner and artist. Both the artwork and bags are available for purchase, making the space truly unique.

I scheduled a consultation with Char to discuss the tattoo I wanted, including the size and placement. She was an excellent listener, suggested a few thoughtful changes, and encouraged me to share my feedback. A few days before my appointment, she sent me the updated drawing, which I absolutely loved.

On the day of my tattoo, Char was fully prepared and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process, which took just over two hours. She was professional, thoughtful, and reassuring from start to finish.

Viper did the honors, and made the experience the highlight of my visit after a long weekend of helping my daughter prepare for her grand opening (across the street). Viper was a gracious host who started with a tour of all the artists' rooms then kept the relaxed vibe going as he deftly accomplished the dead with minimal pain and blood loss. My daughters piercing was a large bar double piercing that diagonally crossed her ear, and mine was simple stud at the top of the ear. Viper thoroughly covered after care procedures and let us take our time on the way out while taking photos of the eclectic mix of artwork and taxidermy African antelope. It was a cool experience, and I'm glad they are neighbors to my daughter's business.“
