“ive been to midgard three times now, but i wanted to leave a review about my most recent artist whom I had an appointment with on 8/12, stephanie. we had to reschedule my appointment which was originally on 7/31, and she was super kind during the entire process, as well as when generally discussing what i wanted for my tattoo. she was super fun to chat with during my appointment, and I felt completely comfortable joking with her; as someone with pretty severe social anxiety this is super uncommon for me!! she also seemed genuienly interested in what I was getting tattooed, asking me questions about the game it's from and letting me go on an autistic ramble 🥹 i was stunned when I saw my design for the first time, as it was so beautiful and went above and beyond any of my expectations. she was also SUPER quick for how many details there were in my design, and it was kind of insane to be done with the linework only an hour ish into our session. she even took a picture of the greens we used in case i need a touch up, which is super helpful!! im so glad I chose her to add to my monster hunter sleeve, and im also so grateful that one of my favorite monsters that is very special and dear to me was captured so well :D please consider stephanie, she is so incredible!!“

“I had an amazing experience at Gold Dust Tattoos, one of the top shops in Dallas. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed—the shop doubles as an art gallery, with beautiful paintings on the walls, and even features custom leather bags designed by Char McGaughy, the owner and artist. Both the artwork and bags are available for purchase, making the space truly unique.

I scheduled a consultation with Char to discuss the tattoo I wanted, including the size and placement. She was an excellent listener, suggested a few thoughtful changes, and encouraged me to share my feedback. A few days before my appointment, she sent me the updated drawing, which I absolutely loved.

On the day of my tattoo, Char was fully prepared and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process, which took just over two hours. She was professional, thoughtful, and reassuring from start to finish.

Overall, the experience was incredible—I walked away more than pleased with the final result. Gold Dust Tattoos is not just a tattoo shop, it’s an inspiring creative space and gallery. I couldn’t be happier and highly recommend Char and her team!

“I always come here for any tattoos I get. I specifically see Caleb regularly for the last 3 or so years and recently got a tattoo done by Tyler both are phenomenal at their work. I recently found out that they hired a piercer, I had gotten my septum pierced at another tattoo shop and had a very bad experience but have missed my septum piercing and wanted to give it another go. I explained my concerns and after getting all set up I began panic due to the bad experience I had at the other shop but my piercer was so so kind telling me to have a seat to calm my nerves and gave me plenty of time to regulate myself and was very understanding, after some time I decided I wanted to go ahead with getting it done and when I tell you this was one of the easiest piercings to get done. He was fast and very thorough with me and gave me some sea salt for cleaning. All the guys here really are the best and they’ve got a good team going! Thank you suffer city✌🏼❤“
