They take patients all the way up until they close at 8pm. I was so happy because I didn't want to take my daughter to the ER over something that didn't need to take long to wait.

RUN from this place at all costs. Seriously.
I took my 4-year-old here because she had a high fever and a terrible cough. From the moment we walked in, the nurses acted like we were inconveniencing them. I get it—working on a Sunday of a holiday weekend isn’t fun—but you’re an urgent care. Maybe don’t make sick kids feel like a burden.
Then we got put in an exam room that smelled like mothballs and cat pee. There was hair all over the floor, greasy handprints on the exam table, and the room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in forever. Definitely not somewhere you’d want your child to be.
The doctor barely let me explain my daughter’s symptoms before interrupting me. She said it “looked like” strep throat and an ear infection but never tested her for strep, COVID, flu, or RSV—even though those were the exact reasons we came in.
And now for the best part… they sent our “prescription” to the pharmacy. I expected antibiotics. Nope. They prescribed an ointment for her chin… because she happened to have a bug bite. 🤦🏼♀ When I called, they told me they had no record of prescribing antibiotics and said we were only seen for a sore throat. None of it made any sense.
We ended up taking her to the ER later that day because her cough got much worse. She tested positive for COVID and had developed pneumonia. Pneumonia in a 4-year-old is no joke.
This visit felt rushed, dismissive, and disorganized from start to finish. If you’re looking for quality care—especially for your child—I would recommend going somewhere else.

I had an amazing experience at Little Spurs Pediatric. The staff was kind, welcoming, and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. The providers took their time to answer all of my questions and showed genuine care and attention toward my child. The office was clean, organized, and the visit was smooth and efficient. I truly felt that my child was in good hands. I highly recommend Little Spurs Pediatric to any parent looking for compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional pediatric care!

My son and I are truly blessed to be able to go to this clinic and get immediate attention! The staff is so amazing, the doctor needs a standing promotion!🙌🫡 Best clinic I’ve been to in years, thank you all so much for seeing my son at a short notice.

I brought my 10 month old to be seen. He was coughing and had major congestion. I informed them that it was his 2nd week of daycare and the doctor automatically said oh it’s from day care. She prescribed baby Zyrtec and sent us home. It’s been 4 days since then and he still has not gotten better. I called and asked if there is something else that can be provided. They said he has to be seen again, even though it’s the same symptoms. I told them that I wanted him tested for viruses last time but they insisted that it’s nothing. Now they want me to pay another copay to be seen. I definitely don’t recommend this urgent care as they only care to make money and not care for the patient. I went to a different urgent care and found out that he has an ear infection.

I recently took my daughter to Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care in Garland after she started repeatedly holding her right ear, having trouble sleeping, and showing signs of discomfort. To help speed things up, I completed all of the paperwork online beforehand, including insurance information, photos of our IDs, and all registration details.
We arrived a few minutes before our 7:15 PM appointment and were greeted by a very pleasant front desk employee who was extremely helpful and informative, especially when explaining how my Blue Cross Blue Shield deductible works once it’s met. The customer service at the front desk was excellent.
Unfortunately, despite only one family being ahead of us, the wait time was much longer than expected. From the waiting area, it appeared the clinic may have been short-staffed that evening. We waited roughly 35–40 minutes before the family ahead of us was called, and then another 15–20 minutes before we were finally taken back. After my daughter was weighed and briefly checked, we were moved to another room and told there were still two patients ahead of us. We then waited another 20–30 minutes before the doctor finally came in, well past the clinic’s 8 PM closing time.
Thankfully, the doctor was kind and thorough, and we learned my daughter was likely experiencing discomfort from teething along with a mild fever, not an ear infection. Overall, everyone we encountered was professional and pleasant, and my daughter surprisingly remained calm throughout the entire visit.
My biggest concern was simply the total wait time, which ended up being well over an hour despite completing everything online in advance. If this had been a more serious emergency and my daughter was in serious pain there would’ve been a serious scare as to what options would have been available, and this extreme delay would have been much more concerning. Because the staff was genuinely kind and professional, I’m giving 4 stars, although the overall experience felt closer to a 3 due to the extended wait.
