Ms. Jimmie did an amazing job on my grandmother’s hair. The color and cut was complete perfection. I am so thankful!

I took my teenager to this salon hoping it would be a good place to start getting her hair done regularly — instead, it turned into a complete disaster. She received a curly perm from a man named John, and due to either the chemicals being improperly washed out or her hair being severely over-processed, all of her hair began falling out. Not in small clumps — we’re talking large handfuls, every day.

My daughter went from having thick, long hair to a patchy mullet… and then to visible balding. It got so bad she couldn’t even return to school. This experience has traumatized her and sent her into a deep depression.

I absolutely do not recommend this salon. I’ve put the situation in God’s hands now. I know hair grows back — but this should never have happened. I pray no other person has to go through what we did.

silk press was pretty but gave me major heat damage.

After seeing the beautiful straight hair picture on Google, I decided to go visit the salon and see if they can straighten my hair. I wanted to get it done by Jimmie but she was not available and said she will have Ericka help me. Ericka suggested not to use chemical straightening but use one of the treatments they do called "chosen" and she said it will last for 6 to 8wks. So I decided to get it done. It took her about 5 minutes to put this cream type product on my hair and then sit for 15 minutes, then she blow dried and straighten with straighter. She gave me a cut as well. I said, don't make it just pretty today, it needs to be for weeks and she says, as long as you don't shampoo. What???
The next day, duck tails at the back as it was b4 this treatment. Nearly $200, for one day. Waste of time and money. I guess their reviews are high because of all the amazing braiding they do. My hair is still wavy and very choppy and super dry. No shine or silkyness like the picture whatsoever. I will never go back here again neither would I recommend anyone for straightening services.

This was my first time getting the full experience at this salon. I went in over a year ago just to get my ends clipped, and it was only the stylist and I in the shop. She is no longer there.

As far as this time goes, there was a little bit of a wait to get started, but overall, it was a good experience. Falicia was my stylist, and she did a great job. I got my first silk press, and I loved my hair! Everyone was very nice. There were good vibes in the shop.
