Came to add another photo of my For Love & Lemons- Rosario Maxi Gown. This one had to have taken her all. It's gorgeous! I don't want to sound conceited (trust me I'm not) but I think I was the best dressed woman there. Not that it was competition or anything. I'm not gonna go into detail on what all needed to be done to shorten the dress because I think I explained that in my last review. But obviously she trimmed it and then rehemmed every vertical ruffle. Side note. GB's work in my opinion looks perfect. Not a single stitch out of place. I trust her more than anyone with my clothes. She knows her stuff. I'm telling you she's special. My dresses look like I purchased them and they just so happened to fit like a glove. I have a couple other places I go to for alterations and dry cleaning and they usually do ok. GB doesn't do dry cleaning anymore. But if I have something really expensive/important it's going to GB
Had to have military blouse patches sewn on. If you buy at the CGEX in Galveston, TX this is the lady to go to. Excellent quality and very timely product. Thank you so much! (Next to Shycat Cafe so have a bite while you wait if need be.)
This is located in a raised basement, down from Shykats restaurant. I don't know how she does on clothes, I had a simple drapery panel requests. I was using the rings with hooks to hang the panels, so I just wanted a simple, cost-effective deal. It was easy. You bring her the fabric, she took care of the lining and weights and all that. Price was super reasonable. Of course the total costs depends on what you spend on the fabric, but you can have custom panels that fit that long "old house" windows in Galveston, (or wherever), at a very reasonable price. I was very satisfied with the work. Got a more custom window treatment for my weekend house. It was good work.
