It took everything in me to keep from crying the first time I saw Dr Keelen. For years now I've been told by more than one Dr that there's nothing they can do for my back pain and it is what it is and then tell me they can't give me enough pain meds to treat the horrible pain. I went to Dr. Keelen for the first time after interviewing many pain Drs. I don’t think I should be treated poorly bc I am on pain medication. He truly seemed caring and kind. We then tried a neck pain injection treatment and I’d never had this. I was skeptical. I’ve had nothing help.

I met Dr. Keelen in 2014. I had been experiencing excruciating pain for over 4yrs despite multiple surgeries, ablations, blocks and of course meds. I was truly at my wits end. Dr. Keelan has always been kind, patient and understanding. Despite living over 550mi away and the hardship of traveling, he is still my Dr. now after 10 years. I feel indebted to him for giving me the ability to go on with my life. It hasn’t been easy. It took a couple of years to adjust the pain pump (partially because of my living on the other side of the state.) but I can at least manage most of my own self care and can get out of the house once again.
