I've never had to wait more than a couple of minutes to get in the chair, and I always feel comfortable, never rushed during my appointments. Cheyenne was my stylist for about 3 years, but when she left the salon last year she offered to transfer me to Sara. During that initial appointment with Sara, she took the time to go over my past hair history, really look at my hair and talk with me about what I was wanting to do with my color. She also considered things like maintenance, cost, and time requirements and was honest and upfront about them, offering different options for me based on my needs. And she continues to take the time at every appointment to look at my hair, give suggestions, and make sure that we're on the same page with the plan before starting on my hair. I'm not the best at describing to someone what I want with my hair (I just don't have the lingo down!), but Sara has absolutely nailed it every time despite my inability to be super specific. The best part is that every time I visit, I feel like I'm the stylist's only client for the day. There's no rushing, no juggling multiple clients at one time, and always laughter, smiles, and good conversation. I always look forward to my appointments and always leave feeling great!“

“I have been a customer at Nubia's for almost 15 years. I always would go for my color and cuts. Until, wait for it..... "Hair Extensions". I've always been skeptical about them but in going to Nubia for so long I knew I was in good hands. She held my hand in choosing the right hair for me. I wanted extensions to wear for a long time ahead so she introduced me to the Ballami hair line. I stressed how much "volume" I wanted and length. Of course the coloring had to be right. “Straight hair to curly due to meds...I have 2 hair textures...I was almost in tears going in with how little if self confidence I have been with my hair I called prior and talked to somebody, and they said that they had someone that would help me with my curly hair. They were just going through the rotation, and the first girl honestly had no idea what to do with curly hair, she wanted to straight blow dry it with a round brush. And use products with silicone. I met Lauren, and she taught me everything I needed to do. Fixed my haircut from a botched issue at JCPenney's Hair Salon and my hair looks so much better. It feels so much better and just naturally has that beautiful curl lauren all the way“
