The space for general shoppers is not huge, but it is fun! Both crafty and unexpected things. My sister who is a retired teacher just wished she had known about it sooner. If you're a teacher it's an amazing space. If you're not go there grab a few items and help a teacher out. ?

This is a really amazing non-profit dedicated to teachers, primarily. Their new 25,000 sq ft location on 2109 South Main St, Fort Worth, TX 76110 continues their decades long passion of providing resources to teachers. Any teacher from anywhere can come in for free classroom resources, about 6000 teachers yearly. Donors bring new and recycled materials in, nothing is rejected. Teachers then take shopping carts to browse amongst shelf after shelf of available items. It's truly amazing what they take; everything seems to be useful directly by students, teaching support or creative projects.
Thanks to The Welman Project I have been able to gather lots of useful items for my classroom. Recently, I have donated 20+ carloads (over last 4+ years) of items after cleaning out my storage room. So, I’ve benefited both ways by donating and locating items. This is a great way to “share it forward” and help the environment as well. Thanks for creating this amazing community project. ??????
