SSHY is beloved by Fort Worth locals. The community oriented yoga studio offers a wide range of classes for folks just starting out as well as those who have been practicing for a long time. If you’re in town, stop by and ring it out!

Amazing yoga studio. The girl at the front desk, I think her name was mia, was so sweet and welcoming. The teachers are amazing and the class was perfect. Tough but doable!

Attended a strength class for their 10th anniversary and really enjoyed it. The class was challenging and I felt really cleansed and stretched after the sweat. The instructor did a great job.

Love Soul Sweat!! Everyone is so kind and welcoming, regardless of experience or skill with yoga. Each instructor brings their own flair to the classes, making it challenging and enjoyable each time. I also love the natural light throughout the day, adding to the experience!

I love the around the room windows and that it's up on the 2nd floor. I ALWAYS recommend this place to people but I've learned that it really depends on what class and instructor you take. For example, I took a power vinyasa with kelsey that was fantastically led even though the class was so booked we were packed in like sardines. On the other hand, took a vin + yin with ~6 other ppl in the class and you could barely hear the instructor to follow along. Also the room never got hot-- i was under the impression that all the classes were hot but i could be wrong .

Soul Sweat is the best yoga studio in Fort Worth! The studio is beautiful, open and bright. The staff is very friendly and personable and have created a welcoming, inclusive community. Soul Sweat offers many different yoga classes- restorative, strength classes with weights, upbeat vinyasa , aerial and a traditional sequence class. These classes are available to both new and experienced yoga students. The classes are beneficial both mentally and physically. I am so grateful for this studio!!

I was really looking forward to this class. I went yesterday at 7:30 pm class and was so excited until the class started. It was my first time and had no ideas of the rules, so I brought in my earbuds and phone to listen to music while I do yoga. So the first 10 minutes of the class I was listening to music on my earbuds and mind you I had a playlist on so I wasn’t on my phone at all. and outta of nowhere the instructor taps my shoulder and tells me phones are not acceptable in the class and I said I was sorry and took off my earbuds and put it by my phone and she said she’s gonna have to take it and will give it back at the end of the class. I have no problem with the rule of not bringing your phone it but Rachel the instructor embarassed me. Made me feel like a kid in elementary school and did not apperciate that since it was my first time ever going to a class and already felt self conscious so I brought my earbuds so I can ignore my fear of working out with new people and a new class. As the class continued, when we were told to stagger out for a new pose and I was confused what she meant so I asked the girl next to me what do I need to do if I need to move my mat or just my body in the mat, and out of nowhere Rachel pops up and seems annoyed and grabs my shoulder and tries to move me to the spot. Also did not apperciate that. I don’t feel comfortable going back but I did love the class and the hot environment but really did not like the instructor. I wish my experience was better. And probably would not recommend to a first timer. I hope Rachel figured it out and finds a way to make ppl feel more comfortable. Also she talks you thru the poses but you can’t hear it. So I’m not sure why earbuds are a problem if you can’t even hear what the instructor is saying anyways.

I am an endurance runner who is currently rehabbing a foot injury. I wanted something to give me a similar feeling to the “runner’s high” I’ve loved for the past 9 years, but without the impact. I dropped into a SSHY class last week and knew immediately that this was the thing for me. I have never enjoyed an exercise practice other than running as much as this. It’s similar both in sweat and in the meditative aspect. I can see myself continuing here even after I’m back on the trails.

Dropped in for a class and still had the same issue I had before. This time is was Madeleine young, and she wasn't teaching the class she was just taking it. She saw my phone sitting next to me, and approached me and told me no phones in class. I said "I didn't bring a bag" she said "but they can't be in the room at all and no talking" ...yet she spoke to me first! I wouldn't be talking if she didn't talk to me. So I asked her why do you have an attitude? "she said I don't have attitude but you could talk to melinda about it." Other then that Lauren Lawrence class was great and she had awesome music!
