Speaking as someone who was looking for a place for my mother to move into, I was very impressed with what I saw. I was hoping she would chose this place, but it wasn't meant to be. Cathy Porter, the Sales Director, showed my husband and myself around the first time, then we brought back my sister and husband to look around, and then the third time with all of us and my mother! Each time she was gracious and friendly, even after we had to reschedule at the last minute for one of those visits. She's just a lovely person, and I'll miss her bubbly personality! Worked here for 5 years! I loved this place such a great staff and residents through the years. After the original ED left a few months later they brought in a lady with years of experience. Well, her 2 months there became complete Hell. Joy is a Heartless soul. She Discriminated against a few staff including me. She played staff against one another just to get rid of those who called HR on her. She degraded, embarrassed, harassed, yelled and be little you in front of staff and residents. My parents community is being overran with bugs and bedbugs! The community is fully staffed yet they have not received housekeeping in MONTHS! We talked to Courtney( previous ED) several times and he dismissed the concerns. They now have an ED, Joy, who thus far hasn't made any changes. Employees are paid to not work because no one is getting their apartment cleaned. This community is filthy! Please don't move your loved one into Ridgemar Place.
