I've had this membership for some time now. They told me I could gift a massage anytime if I didn't used it. They told me that I could use it on any of the services they offered. I was able to gift one massage and when I wanted to do it again they told me I couldn't gift to the same person. Then I accumulated several months and wanted to do a facial then turned out that certain facial or service wasn't included and I'd have to pay an additional fee. I had to pay an additional fee to have a massage at another location. (Too many read the fine print..) I bought a membership for massage envy in February.. after attending this location 4 times I gotta say massage envy isn't what it used to be. I used to goto locations in the Los Angeles area and it was always so professional.. since attending this location, I still can't find a decent massage therapist. I like medium pressure & it always seems to be on the lighter side with all 3 masseuses that's I've tired. I had an experience where it was going well, the all of a sudden the masseuse started rushing through the rest of my massage. We booked what we thought was a couples massage and planned our whole day around it. We picked this location specifically for that reason. When we arrived, we realized that they had us two appointments booked for the same time, not as a couples. No big deal, it would have been okay and we would have gone through with it but Therapist Candace has the absolute most rotten attitude. She acted like she didn't care to be at work and definitely didn't make me feel confident that she was there for me to relax. We ended up leaving. The manager and front staff were so kind but I will never ever return to this location because of her. Don't waste your time or money... read full review
