So glad I found her! This Lemongrass sure beats the Hulen location on making their customers happy!

I suffer from extreme anxiety, so it's oftentimes hard for me to get out and do alot of things- including going into a Salon to get my hair cut! I saw an ad online for Lemongrass Salon on University Dr. (Ft. Worth), and decided to give them a call in hopes of finding a suitable (and hopefully perfect) match for my needs. I asked many questions, and got referred to Savannah Smith!! I was of course nervous and anxious, as usual, when I first went in, but Savannah ended up being the absolute perfect match for me!!! Not only in her caring, compassionate, and empathetic deamor and attitude (I did start having a moderate anxiety attack right in the middle of getting my hair washed, where I even started crying & hyperventating, and she was very caring and asked/gave me extra time to sit and calm myself down, before moving out to the chair if I wanted/needed to), but also in her level of asking questions, consulting me, and listening to me and what I was looking for in my haircut!!! I would 100% recommend and refer Savannah Smith to anyone looking for a great and amazing Hair Stylist, especially for those who may have special needs like myself!! (Also, my hair is so thick and always falls forward right into my face, and since getting my haircut with her, I literally cannot even feel the weight of it all now, nor does it fall forward covering my face and cheeks either!! Not to mention, I haven't had a headache since the day I got my haircut, on Friday, August 8th, 2025, which is a huge deal for me!! Thank you Savannah for being so understanding, caring, and accommodating to my needs (high anxiety), but also for the **BEST** haircut that I have had in at least the last 16 years!!!

I went a few weeks ago and got a haircut by Joey and was very satisfied. I set up an appointment with Joey to get highlights and lowlights for August 3rd. They called me and canceled my appointment because they said that they would be closed on that Sunday and rescheduled me for August 10th @3 pm. Today they called me at approximately 2:30 pm, while I was sitting in the parking lot, and told me that they were canceling my appointment today because Joey 's client scheduled before my appointment wanted extra things done to their hair and he wouldn't have time to do my hair. What kind of business do you run when you cancel a new client 's appointment to do extra things for someone that was not appointed. During the call, I told the girl on the phone how upset I was and that they were very unprofessional doing what they did to me. Before I left the parking lot ,I proceeded to go into the business and give them a piece of my mind. It won't let me give them 0 stars.

Highly recommend that you book with Savannah! She did the most perfect cut and highlights for me!!

Wonderful head massage and conditioning treatment by Ashley for only $20! They use all natural products too which is a bonus.

Had a great experience here! I had really long hair and was looking to get a bob for summer. They scheduled my haircut with Brittney who ended up doing a fabulous job. She looked at the pictures I had brought and asked questions to help better understand what I was wanting. She washed and conditioned my hair first and I got hot towels wrapped around my neck which felt heavenly. She spent a good amount of time on my haircut, she was extremely thorough and meticulous about checking her work and I felt very confident in her abilities throughout the appointment. When she was done she gave me a fantastic blow out and showed me a couple different ways I could style it. She was also very friendly and we got along well. I should have gotten pictures but my husband was waiting on me outside and it completely slipped my mind. She did a wonderful job though, and I will absolutely be coming back for my next haircut. Really happy to find a salon that I like, that has such reasonable prices!

Stylist: I’ve been going to Whitney Alcala for 13 years. She is the best when it comes to treating my hair with perfection and getting exactly what I envision completed. I will never go to another person and highly recommend visiting Whitney on your next hair appointment. You won’t regret it.

Whitney is by far the most talented when it comes to hair color and style. She's been colorist for over 10 years now and she always delivers the best results. I highly recommend her to anyone.
