Oh man.....Almost everything was just not good. I will say in a positive note that once my son was in the chair, she was very nice and polite and an overall happy person. What we asked for was a coil fade. Coils on top and faded down. Making the Appointment: My son made the appointment the day before. We arrive at the address and was confused what door to choose. There was no way to tell. He called and she had apparently completely forgot about the SCHEDULED appointment. She said that she needed to push us 2 hours back. Now. Oooook I wanted to give this lady a good review because I want to support black owned businesses. However I unfortunately have to be honest. On first impressions the Salon experience is less then 1 star. The salon is a mess. Hair extensions every where, dirty chairs everywhere with things lying around. The wash area where she takes clients to wash their hair is equally disgusting. You maybe asking why I continued with the service...I had meeting that Monday and I wanted my natural hair blown out and the salons was close to my home when I looked on yelp as well as her prices were reasonable. Kay was available to do my hair at the last minute and she did a wonderful job! She was thorough and made a hopeless situation something beautiful. She even made suggestions on how to style it (which I did) The service was great!
