Great instructor who makes the lessons comprehensive. Nice people to practice with. Great vibe. At the beginning of my training I was very nervous, but soon became comfortable with the instructor and peers.
Frequency is great for people serious about learning jiu jitsu. Kyle and all of the instructors teach the ins and outs of why techniques work and provide foundational knowledge and support for learning the sport. There is a great combination of drilling and rolling(exhibition), so classes are always dynamic and never boring. In my opinion, this is THE place to learn jiu jitsu in Fort Worth.
I have been going to this gym for a little over 2 months now. I’ve been wanting to get into BJJ for years now but never had the courage to try it. I finally jumped into it here at Frequency BJJ after reaching out for a class schedule. The free week trial was encouraging and once I stepped into the gym, i was sold. There was a laid back but professional environment fueled by the respect of the art. The pros/cons for me:Pros:-convenient hours (dad of 3)-Small groups (more eyes on technique)-Friendly people (excited to come back)-All levels (always learning)Cons:-I now enjoy getting beat up on a weekly basis… ?
