Extremely pleased with work provided by DFW Fence Contractors. We had a pool added to our backyard. They tore down the old wrought iron fence and driveway gate and provided us with a beautiful new western red cedar, board on board fence, driveway gate and LiftMaster gate operator with battery backup. We had several bids. Be aware, many competitors were suggesting Japanese Red Cedar as being just as good Western Red Cedar. DFW Fence says Japanese Red Cedar does not stand the test of time. Andrew Bell was great to work with. Very pleased with the fencing I had him replace. When he came back later to address some concerns, he answered all my questions to my satisfaction & even left me 5 pickets for any future changeouts I might want or need to replace. ANDREW GETS 5 STARS. His team lead Carlos only gets 3½ stars. He & his helper did a good job, were professional & cleaned up. However, he showed up at my house 4hrs early without notice or a request to change the agreed-upon time. I know, I know - earlier is better than later; it is - but I had already agreed to change the appointed day because Andrew had a cancellation. It totally scrambled my... read full review

The new fence adds such beauty to our backyard! Garrett, the salesman noticed our house's set-up and recommended that instead of a board-by-board we go with a horizontal fence. He was available for all my questions and the changes we made. The team that came out measured everything and did a neat and efficient job. Good follow-up by Rider and the office. We had to request that they come back up to remove some nails that were sticking out and adjust the picket on the gate. They followed up although I had to make two requests. I do have to say that they were available and responded quickly. Beautiful fence and solid experience overall.
