When I first met Dan, I was 25, new to Texas, and totally obsessed with my golden retriever. I worked from home, so we were very co-dependent (I even cried during our consultation at the thought of leaving him — which Dan and I still laugh about to this day!). Laddie was sweet, but wild — full of energy, didn’t listen, and completely walked all over me. I was definitely a pushover.

In just three weeks, Dan gave both of us the tools we needed. He helped me gain confidence as a dog owner, and he transformed Laddie into the incredible companion I have today. Fast forward to now: we live in downtown Chicago, and I can walk Laddie off-leash through a busy city without a worry. He’s calm, reliable, and so well-behaved, even in chaotic situations. Just this morning at the farmer’s market, we encountered an aggressive dog, and Laddie calmly placed beside me while we navigated the situation with total ease — all thanks to Dan’s training and tips.

I always get an update on how she's handling her time there. She knows when she's going for a stay because she gets eager about her go bag being packed. She is happy going in and coming out. I love how they manage their kennels. They are well kept. They don't have too too many dogs, and they did a great job of making me feel assured the first time I left my dog. They let me tour the facilities and gave me a run down of their schedule. I also love that they have the same employees, so your fur babe really gets to build a trusting and safe relationship with them.“
