UMC - West Clinic is a first-class facility with a friendly and professional staff. The staff genuinely care about patients' well-being and take the time to understand their needs. The clinic has a welcoming atmosphere, with staff members going out of their way to make patients feel at ease. Patients praise the clinic's doctors, nurses, and medical assistants for being attentive, knowledgeable, and courteous. Dr. Lindo and Dr. Tomas are particularly commended for their excellent care and patient-centered approach. Some patients mention that a few staff members may have a negative attitude, but overall, the clinic is highly recommended for its exceptional service and quality care. The clinic is also praised for its efficient registration process and friendly medical assistants.
Long wait time. The receptionist needed help. They brought in another person to help and I was next in line. He called me up wrote my name down on a piece of paper gave me a number. I could over hear them putting me in the system after the line was gone. All the people waiting in line after me went in before I did. I like the East side clinic better.
Sign in is fast and easy. I recently moved to this clinic and I love that all specialist, radiology, pharmacy and physical therapy are in one place. I have private insurance and it's not a problem. They also have available affordable care discount for those without insurance but you must apply and have an income.
Comfortable space. Great PT group! However it took my daughter almost 2 hours to drop off a stool specimen. I know because I waited with her. My daughter said this was normal. Unbelievable waste of time for us as well as all the employees we had to interact with to accomplish such a simple task.
