We have used the services of seniors helping seniors many times. When our mom fell ill and it became apparent that she needed 24 hour care, it was a very difficult time for us. Our life as we knew it stopped that day. Now we find small windows of time to get a break and remember what normal was. Sometimes my wife and I can feel more like roommates than husband and wife, because of the incredible amount of time it takes to care for mom. That makes those breaks so important.
