Make sure to call in to cancel for any hair services a week on time to be safe if not you will be hit with a $50 cancellation fee. I was not advised of this, and on top of that I was supposed to call back to get a week appointment because apparently the weekends are for the regulars. If I was quoted $230 for highlights, I didnt need to hear why a week appointment would work better for the hairstylist because of regulars over me as a new customer. And made it seem like me going on a weekend seemed like an inconvenience to her. Mel replied back after I had left a message. She was able to attend to me right away within 40mins of her calling me back. I got my hair trimmed just in time before my mom's memorial service.

I have paid 3 and 5 times more of what Mel's charges at other salons for a haircut and always left dissapointed@#$ I hope Mel never closes! Mel has never disappointed me always does exactly what I ask and it always turns out perfect!!
